How to: Corner Bookmark
How to create a simple corner bookmark...
Today I will be showing everyone how to create a simple Corner Bookmark...This is a very easy very simple do it yourself!! :)
What you will need:
ruler
pencil
glue stack
scissors
sheet of paper, card stock weight
other embellishments such as markers, stamps, stickers, ink stamps, flower embellishments etc.
TIP...
When selecting the card
stock you will use for this project , keep in mind that one sided card
stock is ideal woken measuring ( on the black side) as I have
illustrated here.
1. First we will need piece of decor♦ative card stock.. I've chosen from my Hippie Chic mats tack which is glittery!! Yay!!
On this cardstock we will draw a
perfect square. For illustration purposes my squares will measure 2
inches. When measuring the sides take note to use your ruler as you want
all of the sides perfectly straight.
2. Draw a second Square exactly
the same size on the right side of the first square and a third Square
exactly the same size on the top of the first square. You will have
three squares that compose an L shape when you are finished.
3. Using your ruler draw a diagonal line across the upper most square from its top right corner to its bottom left corner.
4. Cut off lower and upper corners off the Square you won't be using that part.
5. Now flip over the card stock and fold down the corners, overlapping each other.
6. Now glue down one flap onto the one under it
7. This is what the front and back should look like...
8. Glue on any Embellishments... For this I used a Hippy ...Chic Paper Flower and Sweet Escape Emblem on the front.
